Anthropic Releases Claude Opus 4.7 in Amazon Bedrock
Anthropic has launched Claude Opus 4.7 on Amazon Bedrock, calling it their most intelligent Opus model to date. The new model is designed to boost performance in coding, long-running agent tasks, and professional knowledge work.

The model is powered by Amazon Bedrock's next-generation inference engine, which introduces dynamic scheduling and scaling logic. This engine allocates compute capacity on the fly, improving availability for steady workloads while accommodating rapid scaling.
“Claude Opus 4.7 represents a leap forward in agentic reasoning and enterprise-grade reliability,” said an Anthropic spokesperson. “It handles ambiguity better, verifies its own outputs, and stays on track over extremely long contexts.”
Record-Breaking Benchmark Scores
Anthropic reports industry-leading scores: 64.3% on SWE-bench Pro, 87.6% on SWE-bench Verified, and 69.4% on Terminal-Bench 2.0. In financial analysis, the model achieved 64.4% on Finance Agent v1.1.
The model also adds high-resolution image support for charts, dense documents, and screen UIs. It maintains consistent performance across its full 1 million-token context window.
Zero-Operator Access for Enhanced Privacy
Amazon Bedrock’s new inference engine provides zero operator access. Customer prompts and responses are never visible to Anthropic or AWS operators, ensuring sensitive data remains private.
“For enterprises handling proprietary code or financial data, this is a game-changer,” said an AWS machine learning specialist. “You get state-of-the-art AI without sacrificing control.”

Anthropic’s Claude Opus series has been a flagship for complex reasoning and agentic tasks. Opus 4.7 is the latest iteration, following Opus 4.6 which already led agentic coding benchmarks.
Amazon Bedrock is a managed service that provides access to foundation models from multiple providers. The new inference engine is designed specifically to support production workloads with high throughput and low latency.
The model is available now in the Amazon Bedrock console via the Playground, and programmatically through the Anthropic Messages API and Bedrock runtime endpoints.
What This Means
For enterprises, Claude Opus 4.7 enables more autonomous coding agents, deeper financial analysis, and multi-step research workflows that require reasoning over underspecified requests. The self-verification feature reduces errors in initial outputs.
